Within the Space Program, INCAS develops turbojet and rocket engine-based reusable demonstrators for space applications.
INCAS, designated Center of Excellence in the field of launchers and spacecraft, aims through the Space Program to implement research activities in order to increase the level of technological maturity from TRL 2 to TRL 8 for complex space projects.
Within the Space Program, INCAS provides research and development capabilities for:
- Reusable demonstrators;
- Launchers;
- Re-entry vehicles;
- Satellites;
- Test benches.
Since 2017, the INCAS Space Program is focused on multi-disciplinary design, system engineering, trajectory optimization, mechanical design, structural analysis, topological optimization and Guidance, Navigation and Control (CNG) for sub-orbital and orbital vehicles.
