Horizon Europe

The key EU funding program for research and innovation, with a budget of EUR 95.5 billion. It addresses climate change, helps achieve the UN's sustainable development goals and stimulates the EU's competitiveness and growth.

Horizon 2020

Horizon 2020 is the largest research and innovation program ever undertaken by the EU. It will lead to many capital innovations, discoveries and world premieres, and transfer ideas from research to market.

FP7

The 7th Framework Program for Research and Technological Development (FP7) is the European Union's main instrument for funding research for 2007-2013.

FP6

The 6th EU Research Framework Programme is a multi-annual program that supports all research, technological development and demonstration activities of the European Community for the 2002-2006 period.

FP5

The 5th Framework Program for Research and Technological Development (FP5) is the European Union's main instrument for funding research.

General Support Technologies Program (GSTP)

Through the optional General Support Technology Programme (GSTP) ESA, Participating States and Industry work together to convert promising engineering concepts into a broad spectrum of useable products.

Future Launchers Preparatory Program (FLPP)

FLPP is a technology development and maturation programme of the European Space Agency (ESA). It develops technologies for the application in future European launch vehicles (launchers) and in upgrades to existing launch vehicles.

Priority Axis I

Promotes investments in Research & Development, develops links and synergies between enterprises, research and development centres and higher education entities.

Priority Axis II

The aim is to contribute to the overall objective of the Partnership Agreement by supporting Research-Development & Innovation as well as Information & Communication Technologies for competitiveness and development.

PN-III: National Research-Development & Innovation Plan

Established following the Government Decree 583/2015, the plan is the main instrument for implementing the National Strategy for RDI 2014-2020 (SNCDI 2020), which establishes the national public investment mechanisms through which funds are competitively allocated for the realization of projects within the 5 programs of the plan.

PN II: Priority Domains Partenerships

Creating conditions improved collaboration between research-development and innovation entities, economic agents and / or public administration units in order to solve the identified problems. The general objective is to increase the competitiveness of R&D by stimulating partnerships in priority areas, materialized in innovative technologies, products and services to solve complex problems and create implementation mechanisms.

PN II – Capacities

Development of national research capacities and integration Romanian RDI system with the international scientific environment.

NUCLEU Program

Advanced research program aimed to increase the competitiveness and capacity of design, analysis and specific expertise in the aerospace field.

STAR

The Research, Development and Innovation Program for Space Technologies and Advanced Research - STAR for the 2012-2019 period, sanctioned by National Law 262/2011, is the instrument by which the National Authority for Scientific Research and Innovation (ANCSI) ensures, together with the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), national support for the implementation of the Agreement between Romania and the European Space Agency (ESA), regarding Romania's accession to the ESA Convention.

CNTAR

The project aims to organize, develop and operate a specific infrastructure for regional air transport in Romania and the immediate vicinity, with major implications for regional development.

CORINT CAPACITIES

National research-development and innovation program, part of the National Research-Development and Innovation Plan, for the 2001-2006 period, sanctioned by GD 556/2001 and updated by GD 614/2004.

CEEX

Proposes concrete actions to strengthen the Romanian Research Area, so that the units and institutions in Romania cope with the level of performance in this field and the requirements imposed by the status of member country of the European Union since 2007.
